people asked me, who are they ?
they are the one that kept me at bay
who straightened me when i went astray
who knew the truth even when i said i'm okay
who never even think to betray
and who believe me rather than hearsay

and then they asked me again
by mingle with them what do i gained ?
a helping hand when i'm in pain
a soft cushion if i were to faint
a hard cover when i'm caned
a key when i'm chained
a psychiatrist when i'm going insane
are just a few of what i gained


before they asked again i said to them
if you dont want my fist in your throat, jammed
or bludgeoned by a club directly at your brain stem
or be cursed at till you are damned
never even think to hurt them
because ruthless is what i am

and as our conversation reach the end
i said to them " O dear friends
my hope remained unchanged, now and then
that we stay friends, till the very end
